The past few months have been busy and honestly, a lot of fun as our team hit the road (and skies) to attend tradeshows across the Midwest. From Cleveland to Topeka, La Crosse to Nashville, we’ve been spreading the word about eComm, our construction information management software built for the people who make projects happen.
Whether we were walking the exhibit floor or chatting over coffee between sessions, one thing stood out at every show: everyone in the construction industry has the same pain points when it comes to construction software.
We’ve had the privilege of attending a variety of events dedicated to different sectors of the AEC industry, including:
- One Water Ohio – August 12–13 in Cleveland, OH
- Kansas Water Environment Association – August 25–27 in Topeka, KS
- Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association – October 14–17 in La Crosse, WI
- Multiple AIA events across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio
- And most recently, the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) National Conference – October 15–21 in Nashville, TN

Each show offered a fresh perspective from wastewater engineers focused on infrastructure improvement to architects balancing design intent with real-world coordination, to construction managers keeping teams aligned on fast-moving projects. But no matter the specialty, the conversations sounded surprisingly familiar.
We heard about the same everyday frustrations . The ones that slow down progress and drain productivity:
- Submittals that are tough to track or get buried in email chains
- Daily reports that take too long to complete and often get repetitive
- Change orders that feel cumbersome
- Closeout packages that can feel intimidating and chaotic at the end of a long project
- And overall, project communication that’s scattered across too many platforms

That’s where eComm comes in. We designed it to take those pain points and turn them into easy wins. With eComm, everyone from Architects and Engineers to General Contractors, Construction Managers, and Owners can collaborate in one place. It’s intuitive, easy to adopt, and built for the real-world workflows that teams face every day.
These tradeshows have been invaluable for us. They’ve given us a chance to hear directly from professionals in every corner of the construction industry to listen, learn, and keep refining how eComm serves you best. It’s been exciting to see how much energy there is around improving collaboration and communication.

We’re already planning our 2026 tradeshow schedule and can’t wait to connect with even more industry professionals across the country. If you’re attending an upcoming event, keep an eye out for the eComm team. We’d love to meet you in person and show you how we’re helping teams bring projects together from start to finish.
Stay tuned on our social channels for updates on where we’ll be next. And if you saw us at one of the shows this year it’s been great hearing your stories, sharing ideas, and showing how eComm can make your day-to-day just a little easier.
