The BookTEK 5 V2 (BE5-V2) is an advanced A2+ book scanner, designed for high-volume digitization in libraries, research facilities, and archives. Engineered for continuous operation, it features a CCD line sensor with 22,500 pixels, delivering ultra-sharp scans up to 600 dpi. Its 120° V-position scanning protects fragile book bindings, while the magnetically coupled book cradle ensures perfect alignment for precise results.
The BE5-V2 offers a Scan2Net® interface and a 21-inch multi-touchscreen, providing an intuitive user experience whether used as a stand-alone kiosk or networked system. It supports multiple file formats, including PDF/A, TIFF, JPEG 2000, and AutoCAD DWF, and meets FADGI, ISO 19264-1, and Metamorfoze Light standards for archival-quality digitization. With lightning-fast scan speeds—as quick as 0.9 seconds per page at 150 dpi—the BookTEK 5 V2 is the ideal solution for large-scale document preservation.
