Does Color Printing Really Matter?

Color is the first thing that people instinctively register when they are assessing any object. Not only does it color comparedetermine whether it catches your eye but it has a powerful effect on a person’s decision to buy. In fact, studies have shown that using color makes prospective customers 75% more likely to stop and read your message.  It is proven that color can sway your thinking and cause reactions.  It can raise your blood pressure, soothe your eyes, and suppress your appetite.  As far as instant communication goes, color is irreplaceable.

It seems like a no-brainer that color printing would be the first choice for AEC businesses, retail, non-profits, schools, fundraisers, and for personal use alike.  This has a lot to do with the fact that color increases brand recognition by up to 80% or that ads in color are read up to 42% more often than  The downfall in the large format world used to be an increased cost with color printing but KIP has changed all of that with their 800 series.

In the past, large format color printing was an expensive endeavor.  Now with the introduction of the KIP 800 series you can print in full color for 50% less per square foot than any of the competitors can print in black.  Yes, you heard that correct, you can have color prints for considerably less than black and white prints.  So how is this possible?  This is KIP’s 4th generation color technology, and the one we’ve been all waiting for.  They are using the best LED toner technology in the industry which allows for affordable color prints at a fraction of the price.
